- 2 ripe plums pitted and sliced
- 2 oz tequila
- 1 oz triple sec orange liqueur
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup adjust to taste
- Ice cubes
- Salt for rimming the glass
- Lime wedge for garnish
- Plum slice for garnish
Prepare the Glass: Start by rimming the glass with salt. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it in salt. Set the glass aside.
Muddle the Plums: In a cocktail shaker, add the sliced plums and muddle them well until they’re broken down and juicy.
Mix the Ingredients: Add tequila, triple sec, lime juice, simple syrup, and a handful of ice into the shaker. Shake well for about 15-20 seconds to mix everything and chill the drink.
Strain the Cocktail: Strain the mixture into your prepared glass over fresh ice. If you prefer more texture, you can leave some of the plum pulp in the drink.
Garnish and Serve: Garnish with a slice of plum and a lime wedge, and serve immediately.
