Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Strainer
  • Martini glass
  • Measuring jigger
  • Cocktail pick (optional, for garnish)

Ingredients

  • 1 oz vanilla vodka
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • 0.5 oz grenadine
  • 1 maraschino cherry for garnish
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Prepare Your Shaker: Add a handful of ice cubes to your cocktail shaker. This will ensure your martini is chilled to perfection.
  • Add the Liquids: Pour in the vanilla vodka and pineapple juice.
  • Shake It Up: Secure the lid on your cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds. You want everything well-mixed and cold.
  • Strain Into Glass: Using a strainer, pour the mixture into a chilled martini glass.
  • Add Grenadine: Slowly pour the grenadine into the center of the drink. It will sink to the bottom, creating that signature layered look.
  • Garnish: Place a maraschino cherry at the bottom of the glass or on a cocktail pick for a finishing touch.
