- 2 cups freshly squeezed orange juice about 4-6 oranges
- ½ cup freshly squeezed lime juice about 4-6 limes
- 1 cup tequila
- ½ cup triple sec or Cointreau
- 2 tablespoons agave syrup or simple syrup
- Ice
- Salt for rimming the glasses
- Orange slices and lime wedges for garnish
Prepare the Glasses: Rim your margarita glasses with a wedge of lime, then dip them in salt. Set aside.
Juice the Fruits: Squeeze the oranges and limes until you get the required amount of juice. You can use a citrus juicer for this job.
Combine Ingredients: In a large pitcher, mix together the orange juice, lime juice, tequila, triple sec or Cointreau, and agave syrup or simple syrup.
Shake It Up: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour a portion of the mixture from your pitcher into the shaker. Shake well until chilled.
Serve: Fill the salt-rimmed glasses with ice. Pour the shaken mixture into each glass.
Garnish: Garnish with orange slices and lime wedges. Serve immediately and enjoy!
