High Tide Drink Recipe
Aman Babal
There’s something incredibly satisfying about whipping up a unique cocktail at home, and my go-to favorite for impressing friends (and myself) is the High Tide Drink. This refreshing and slightly exotic concoction combines Japanese whiskey, green tea syrup, and tonic water, making it perfect for a laid-back evening or a small gathering. Here’s everything you need to know to create this delightful drink.
- 1 oz Cointreau liqueur
- ½ oz lemon juice
- 5 oz tonic water
- 1 oz Japanese whiskey
- ½ oz green tea syrup
Combine Ingredients: Start by filling your cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in the Cointreau, lemon juice, Japanese whiskey, and green tea syrup.
Shake It Up: Shake vigorously for about 20 seconds until everything is well-mixed and chilled.
Pour and Add Tonic: Strain the mixture into a highball glass filled with ice cubes. Top it off with the tonic water.
Stir: Use a bar spoon to gently stir the mixture, ensuring that the tonic water is equally distributed without losing its fizz.
Garnish and Serve: Garnish with a lemon twist or a slice of lemon to add a zesty touch. Enjoy your High Tide Drink!
