Preheat Your Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This way, it’ll be hot and ready for our stuffed mushrooms.
Clean the Mushrooms: Gently clean your mushrooms with a damp cloth. Remove the stems and set both caps and stems aside.
Prepare the Stuffing: Finely chop the mushroom stems. In a bowl, mix chopped mushroom stems, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, and softened cream cheese. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if you like a bit of heat.
Stuff the Caps: Spoon a generous amount of the stuffing mixture into each mushroom cap.
Arrange on a Baking Sheet: Place the stuffed mushroom caps on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle a little olive oil over the top of each mushroom.
Bake: Put the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
Serve: Remove from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm as an appetizer or a delightful side dish.
