Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe dragon fruit peeled and chopped
  • 2 oz silver tequila
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup adjust to taste
  • Ice cubes
  • Salt or sugar for rimming the glass optional
  • Lime wedges and dragon fruit slices for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Glass: If you like a salted or sugared rim, run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass. Dip the glass into a plate of salt or sugar and set it aside.
  • Blend the Dragon Fruit: In a blender, add the chopped dragon fruit and blend until smooth. If you prefer a pulp-free drink, strain the puree using a fine mesh sieve.
  • Mix the Cocktail: In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of silver tequila, 1 oz of triple sec, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, 1 oz of simple syrup, and the dragon fruit puree. Add ice cubes to the shaker.
  • Shake It Up: Shake the mixture vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until everything is well combined and chilled.
  • Serve: Fill your prepared glass with ice, then strain the mixture into the glass. Garnish with a slice of dragon fruit and a lime wedge.
