  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur like KahlĂșa
  • 1 oz chocolate liqueur such as Godiva
  • 1 oz heavy cream or milk
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish

  • Fill the shaker: Start by adding ice cubes to your cocktail shaker. About halfway full should do.
  • Measure the liquids: Pour in 2 ounces of vodka, followed by 1 ounce each of coffee liqueur and chocolate liqueur.
  • Shake it up: Secure the lid on your shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds. You want to chill the mixture well and combine all the flavors.
  • Prepare your glass: Fill a rocks glass with fresh ice cubes to keep your cocktail nice and cold.
  • Strain into the glass: Using a strainer, pour the mixture over the ice in your glass.
  • Add the cream: Slowly pour 1 ounce of heavy cream over the back of a spoon onto the cocktail. This helps create a beautiful layered effect.
  • Garnish: Top it off with a sprinkle of chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder for that extra touch of decadence.
