Equipment

  • Large pitcher
  • Sharp knife (for slicing apples)
  • Cutting board
  • Measuring cups
  • Glasses for serving
  • Stirring spoon

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of white wine I recommend something light and crisp, like a Pinot Grigio
  • 2 cups of apple cider
  • 1 cup of caramel vodka
  • 1/4 cup of lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup of simple syrup optional, for added sweetness
  • 2 apples sliced thinly
  • 1/2 cup of caramel sauce for garnish
  • Cinnamon sticks optional, for garnish
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Prepare the apples: Start by slicing the apples thinly. You can leave the peel on for added color, but feel free to peel them if you prefer.
  • Mix the base: In a large pitcher, combine the bottle of white wine, apple cider, caramel vodka, and lemon juice. Stir everything together until well mixed.
  • Sweeten to taste: If you prefer a sweeter cocktail, stir in the simple syrup at this point. This is totally optional, depending on your taste preferences.
  • Add the apples: Toss the apple slices into the mixture, giving it a quick stir to incorporate.
  • Chill: Refrigerate the sangria for at least 1 hour. This helps the flavors meld together and ensures the sangria is nice and cold.
  • Serve: Before serving, drizzle some caramel sauce along the inside of each glass. Pour the chilled sangria over ice, and garnish with a cinnamon stick for an extra touch of fall.
  • Enjoy: Sip and savor the delicious flavors of apple, caramel, and wine—perfect for a cozy autumn evening.
