Ingredients
  

  • 1 oz Scotch whisky
  • 1 oz sweet vermouth
  • 1 oz cherry liqueur like Heering
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed orange juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Orange peel for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the ingredients: Start by measuring out 1 ounce each of Scotch whisky, sweet vermouth, cherry liqueur, and freshly squeezed orange juice.
  • Fill the shaker with ice: Add ice cubes to a cocktail shaker to chill the mixture properly.
  • Add the liquids: Pour all the measured ingredients into the shaker over the ice.
  • Shake it up: Secure the lid on the shaker and give it a good, vigorous shake for about 15-20 seconds. You want the ingredients to mix well and chill thoroughly.
  • Strain the cocktail: Using a cocktail strainer, pour the mixture into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass.
