- Fresh Strawberries: 1 pint rinsed and dried
- Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips: 1 cup
- White Chocolate Chips: 1/2 cup optional, for drizzling
- Coconut Oil: 1 teaspoon optional, for a smoother texture
- Sprinkles or Crushed Nuts: Optional for decoration
Prepare the Strawberries:
Melt the Chocolate:
Fill the bottom of a double boiler with about an inch of water and bring it to a simmer over medium heat.
Place the semi-sweet chocolate chips in the top part of the double boiler. If using, add the coconut oil for a smoother dip.
Stir continuously until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
Dip the Strawberries:
Holding a strawberry by its stem, dip it into the melted chocolate. Ensure it's evenly coated, then lift it and let the excess chocolate drip back into the bowl.
Place the dipped strawberry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Repeat this process with all the strawberries.
Optional White Chocolate Drizzle:
Melt the white chocolate chips using the double boiler method.
Using a fork, drizzle the white chocolate over the dipped strawberries for an elegant touch.
