  • 1 oz gin
  • 1 oz Aperol
  • 1 oz sweet vermouth
  • Orange peel for garnish
  • Ice

Instructions
 

  • Fill a Mixing Glass with Ice: First, fill a mixing glass with ice. This helps to chill the ingredients without watering them down too much.
  • Add the Ingredients: Pour in the gin, Aperol, and sweet vermouth.
  • Stir Well: Using a bar spoon, stir the ingredients for about 30 seconds, until they are well-chilled and nicely diluted.
  • Strain into a Glass: Using a strainer, pour the mixture into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Garnish: Twist an orange peel over the glass to release the oils; then drop it into the glass for garnish.
