Finding the Perfect Balance Between Sweet and Spicy

When it comes to making a great Spicy Strawberry Jalapeño Margarita, it’s all about finding the right balance between the sweet strawberries and the heat from the jalapeños. If you like your margaritas on the sweeter side, you can always add a bit more agave syrup or muddle an extra strawberry.

On the flip side, if you’re a heat-seeker, don’t be afraid to leave in a few jalapeño seeds or toss in an extra slice. Just remember, jalapeños can vary in heat, so take a sip before you go all-in!

Why You Should Muddle Instead of Blending

You might wonder why I prefer muddling the strawberries and jalapeños instead of blending everything. Muddling allows you to extract the fresh juices from the strawberries and jalapeños without turning the cocktail into a smoothie.

It keeps the drink light and refreshing while still delivering those big, bold flavors. Plus, it gives you better control over the spiciness, since you can adjust how much jalapeño gets muddled into the drink.
